December corn is down 14 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 35
1/2 cents, September KC wheat is down 9 3/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is
down 10 1/4 cents, and MIAX September Minneapolis wheat is down 0.0650 cents.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 14 1/4 cents per
bushel, November soybeans are down 35 1/2 cents, September KC wheat is down 9
3/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is down 10 1/4 cents, and MIAX September
Minneapolis wheat is down 0.0650 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Friday, September corn rose 1/4 of a cent, November
soybeans rose 9 3/4 cents, and September KC wheat dropped 14 1/2 cents. Corn,
hard red winter wheat, and spring wheat basis was steady Friday, while soft red
winter wheat basis was stronger and soybean basis was weaker. Corn and soybean
prices remained supported by a drier-leaning weather outlook for the next two
weeks. Wheat prices on Friday dropped due to rumors that Ukraine and Russia
were considering options to ease attacks in the Black Sea. Additionally,
traders positioned ahead of uncertainty over the weekend. On Saturday,
President Trump delayed a major strike on Iran, citing efforts to revive
diplomatic talks to open the Strait of Hormuz. As a result of the delayed
attack, crude oil dropped to $85 a barrel early Monday; corn and soybeans have
followed. On Monday, USDA will release its usual Export Inspections report at
10 a.m. CDT. At 3 p.m. CDT, the weekly Crop Progress report will be released,
updating state-by-state crop ratings following a stretch of hot and dry weather
across the Corn Belt.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: The previous close on Friday showed the Dow Jones
Industrial Average up 235.60 at 51,947.25 and the S&P 500 up 3.68 at 7,411.98.
The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.679%. Early Monday, the September Dow
Jones Futures are up 549 points. European markets are higher, with the spot
futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.4%, spot futures of Germany's DAX are
trading up 1.55%, and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index are up 0.28%.
Asian markets are higher, with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.5% and China's
Shanghai Composite Index up 1.15%.
